The poles of the Hayate pole saw are the most robust among Silky’s offerings. Their oval shape and the flattened section at their narrowest point contribute to their sturdiness.

The Hayate poles are equipped with a two-step locking system featuring a button lock and a clamp.  These secure the poles in place. You will notice the clamps are very tight, to begin with.  But over time, they may loosen slightly. To maintain their secure hold, it’s important to replace the black spacer if you notice any stretching. You will notice the spacer found under all of the yellow levers.

The final pole section in each set features a handle with yellow straps.  This strapping offers exceptional comfort and grip. The grip is crafted from GOM rubber, a patented material manufactured by Silky Japan. You’ll see that the bottom of the pole also features a rubber shock absorber, which guards the poles against damage from impacts such as dropping.
