STEIN SCORPIUS ACR-16 35m Climbing Line with Spliced Eye
Strong, Durable and Ready for Professional Climbing
The STEIN SCORPIUS ACR-16 35m Climbing Line is a premium 12.4mm low stretch climbing rope designed for professional arborists and rope access users. Its 16-strand kernmantle construction delivers excellent durability, controlled elongation, and reliable handling in demanding environments.
In addition, the professionally finished spliced eye termination provides a strong, low-profile attachment point. As a result, there’s no need to tie a bulky termination knot, making setup quicker while maintaining maximum rope efficiency.
Excellent Handling Every Time
The SCORPIUS ACR-16 offers a supple, easy-grip feel that remains comfortable throughout the working day.
At the same time, its construction provides outstanding knot-holding capability, allowing climbing systems to operate smoothly and consistently. Whether you’re ascending, descending, or positioning yourself in the canopy, this rope delivers dependable performance.
Furthermore, the rope’s controlled extension improves stability while working, helping you maintain better positioning during climbing tasks.
Built to Last
Daily climbing demands equipment that can withstand constant wear. That’s why the SCORPIUS ACR-16 features excellent abrasion resistance and a durable protective coating.
Consequently, the rope resists damage from friction and everyday use, helping extend its service life while maintaining reliable performance.
In addition, every rope includes serial-numbered terminations, allowing straightforward identification and equipment management.
Professionally Spliced Eye Termination
The factory-finished spliced eye replaces the need for a knotted termination when attaching approved connectors.
As a result, it creates a cleaner, more compact connection that integrates easily with compatible climbing hardware.
The SCORPIUS ACR-16 is designed for work positioning, restraint, general-purpose positioning, and rescue applications. However, it is not intended for use in personal fall arrest systems and should always be used alongside compatible ascending, descending, positioning, and safety devices that meet the relevant standards.
Certified for Professional Use
The STEIN SCORPIUS ACR-16 has been independently tested and certified to BS EN1891:1998 Type A for low stretch kernmantle ropes.
Furthermore, the spliced eye termination complies with Section 4.12.2 Static Strength with Terminations, requiring a minimum strength of 15kN sustained for at least three minutes.
The rope also complies with the European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, giving professional users confidence in its quality and performance.
