Introducing the Polesaw Spring Changer Set.

This tool makes the maintenance and repair process of Silky Pole Saws more efficient by simplifying the removal and installation of springs and buttons.

The Polesaw Spring Changer Set is composed of two parts: the pipe that holds the spring and button, and the spring changer hook used to remove the old spring and button. The set is designed to make the process of removing and installing springs in Silky Pole Saws quicker and easier.

HOW TO USE:

Remove the pole section that you want to replace the spring set in from the other poles.  Use the hook-looking tool to remove the old spring.  Slide the hook into the pole section and find the old spring.  If the spring screw is still in place, unscrew this first.

The hook will make life so much easier, as after you have removed the spring screw you simply pull the spring out with the handy hook.  Now you can replace or repair the spring and or button.

Get your new spring and insert it into the spring changer pipe. Folded section first.  Place your new button onto the hook on the top end of the spring.  Then carefully insert the spring changer pipe into the pole.  Line up the section of the spring that takes the little spring screw. The button should pop through the hole in position.  Screw this little screw into place.  This is what holds the spring in position.  Once you are sure that the screw is firmly in place, pull the spring changer pipe out.  The spring and button at this point pop into place.
