BeaverCraft Whittling Sloyd Knife

BeaverCraft Whittling Sloyd Knife – C4

If you enjoy shaping wood by hand, this is one of those tools that just feels right the moment you pick it up. The BeaverCraft C4 Whittling Sloyd Knife is built for clean cuts, smooth control, and comfortable carving—even during longer sessions. Inspired by the Swedish sloyd tradition, it’s designed for efficient shaping, roughing out projects, and general whittling work.

The 20° bevel makes it perfect for soft woods, giving you sharp, effortless cuts with very little resistance. (Hardwoods are doable, but they’ll dull the fine edge more quickly.) The straight blade and durable tip handle everything from heavy stock removal to tidy finishing cuts, making it a versatile go-to knife for beginners and seasoned carvers alike.

The high-carbon steel blade arrives sharp and ready to work, and the oak handle—finished with natural linseed oil—fits comfortably in the hand. The ergonomic shape gives you control without strain, making longer carving sessions feel smooth and enjoyable. It’s also ambidextrous, so both right- and left-handed carvers can use it comfortably.

Whether you’re new to the craft or building your collection, this sloyd knife offers reliability, precision, and a satisfying carving experience.
